Happy Halloween, Readers! T.C. Arc here. Now, I know this post didn’t go up on Saturday but bear with me for the title.
A.G. and I had a lot of fun this weekend because not only was it Halloween, but our homecoming week too! Instead of wearing dresses, the dance was movie-themed so we dressed up as movie characters. A.G. went as Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Caribbean and I went as Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. Before the dance, A.G. and I even dueled it out with our weapon of choice XD.
Happy start of November as well! If any of you Readers were around last year, then you might remember NaNoWriMo. For those of you who don’t, NaNoWriMo means National Novel Writing Month. If you visit the website: https://nanowrimo.org you can sign up with a free account and access special tools to help you keep track of your word count. It is great to use NaNo year-round, but in November writers all across the world try to write 50,000 words this month. I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo at least three times and never reached that goal, which is totally fine! This challenge is about writing as much as you can so as long as you tried your best it doesn’t matter if your word count is over 50,000 or under. I encourage you, Readers, to accept the challenge!! If you would like some extra encouragement alongside A.G., yours truly, and other Silver Arc Readers, join our writing group on NaNo!
Last but not least, my short story Hey There Delilah is done with the editing stage and is entering the formatting stage! My goal is to have the story published around Christmas and New Year’s so be on the lookout for more updates!
I hope you all had a Halloween full of treats and I’ll see you next time!
