Happy Saturday Readers! T.C. Arc here with some exciting updates. In case you missed it, we posted an extra blog post earlier in the week to explain one of the updates. Silver Arc now owns our very own domain!!! This basically means that instead of the annoying ‘sites.google.com/silverarc’, our site is simply silverarcblog.com. This update should have started to work by the 18th so don’t worry if you weren’t able to find it earlier in the week.
Some other news is that we added an ‘Our Story’ page where you can learn more about the purpose and journey of Silver Arc. Our ‘Blog’ page is also a little different, but you can still find all the posts we have released.
The second most exciting bit of Silver Arc news is that we have a new background! You may be thinking, “Well you’ve already changed the background before, what’s the big deal?” Well, the new background really encompasses our love of fantasy and fiction with some of the beliefs that makes Silver Arc Silver Arc.
The most apparent feature is the castle, which is the fantasy aspect. Towards the bottom of the castle you can see a few arches...or arcs if you will ;). Also on the topmost tower of the castle, you can see the markings of a compass. A.G. and I have adopted the compass as our symbol because we are directing young authors to a bright and successful future. The sky with the constellations was pretty much just because we like stars haha. You should be able to find however, the constellations of Leo and Gemini which are A.G. and I’s zodiac signs. The color scheme of the website is totally different, but A.G. and I thought it was more fitting. Feel free to email us feedback at silverarcblog@gmail.com!
I’m so excited for A.G.’s novel Elven Cursed to be released sometime in 2021, and as I’ve watched her go through the publishing process, I’ve thought about my own publishing schedule. None of my writing has entered the publishing process, but by the end of 2021, I plan to have completed a few goals. My fantasy novel Way of the Dragon is in progress, but I’ve been having some writer’s block and plotting troubles. Yes, I still plan to finish it, but it's going to take longer than originally estimated.
At the end of 2021, I am planning to have drafted A Heart Adrift (my main project at the moment), have Hey There Delilah in the editing process, and plot a completely new short story. With those three stories, I’m going to publish a collection of short stories! Short stories are easier to finish, in my opinion, and they don’t require as extensive plotting. If you would like to find the synopsis of my stories, make sure to visit my ‘Books’ page! Also, come back for next week’s post to take a closer look at Hey There Delilah and A.G.’s short story When I Sign The Rock…
One last update, my succulent collection has expanded greatly from just Rakel and Gwendafyn. I now have a grand total of fifteen succulents...and counting. How did I acquire so many? You can all thank A.G. for her superb gift giving skills XD. Did I name them all? Why yes I did, there is no shortage of book or movie characters I admire so it wasn’t very hard.
Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out next week’s special post!
