Productivity and Dresses

So for about a month now, I haven’t really been doing any writing- mainly just searching for book cover artists, editors, and typesetters. If you hadn’t read the updated homepage, I have finally finished working with all my editors for Elven Cursed- and I’m looking for a typesetter.

But other than that, I haven’t focused on writing another story. I may occasionally add a little snippet to a random chapter of a random story, but working full time on a new novel is not my thing at the moment.

I know some authors will begin writing another novel as they wait for their first novel to be worked on, but for me, that is a bit too stressful. This is my first time going hardcore about publishing a novel, and having to figure out prices, schedules, design, and marketing is a bit overwhelming. So to relieve some of the stress, I use my well-spent time (yeah right) looking at wedding dresses.

*cue the silence and/or laughing*

‘But A.G.,’ you may say. ‘You are young and single. Why on earth would you look at wedding dresses?’

And that is a very good question.

I guess for some reason, I just find all the beautiful gowns so fascinating to look at, and that makes me happy. I love the off the shoulder ball gown style wedding dresses, and all the beautiful pictures of the dresses keep me from stressing out because then I focus on the folds and design of the dress (In case I forgot to mention, I’m a seamstress and I do embroidery as a side job, so seeing all the excellent craftsmanship just brings out my inner designer).

So yeah that’s what I do in my free time… very productive, I know. But hey, everyone needs a break sometimes. Anyway, I have an announcement that has to deal with the entirety of Silver Arc.

Drum roll please…

(imagine this in a booming herald voice ) Starting this Saturday, Silver Arc will be posting blogs every Saturday instead of just random weekdays. Henceforth, the day shall be known as Silver Arc Saturday.

That is all I shall say for now- I will not reveal anything else. That is for T.C. to tell you when she begins the silver Arc Saturday kick off this weekend. (And here I am laughing at myself because I make it sound like we are about to be the announcers at a major sports event. Like no, we’re just gonna make our blog a bit more special.)
