That is not all I have to say however. Lately I’ve been looking at a lot of colleges and thinking of what I want to major in, and of course what I want to do as my career. I would love to write for a living and so I was exploring different options within the writing field. Looking back at all of my writing, I write a lot of dialogue, and that’s when it hit me...why not try screenwriting?
If I were to write a screenplay, which is the same thing as a movie script, I could write mostly dialogue. After some research, I learned the basic format for a script and tried writing it on my own. I’m using one of my short stories Hey There Delilah and adapting it into the script, but I’m also keeping my original version of Hey There Delilah.

Writing has endless possibilities and sometimes it's hard to know where to start. With screenwriting I have a format for where to put dialogue and then where to put things such as location, tone of voice, and character descriptions. In screenwriting I don’t get to write character’s inner thoughts as much however, which is also a big part of my usual writing.
For a writer, research never ends so I will continue to research careers and different ways to write.
On a better note, it's finally fall!! Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite season and I am so excited for cooler weather, colorful leaves, and cozy clothes.
As always, thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful week! Happy Fall y’all!
