Hello hello, my lovely Readers! A.G. Silver here and I am so, so excited for this week's post! For the past few months, I’ve kept y’all updated on my newest writing project, and as curious as y’all were, I said I wouldn’t say the book title until July… well it’s July. So now I can tell you!!!
Before I say the title, I thought I’d let y’all know a little more about the book! Okay so as I said before, my new novel is a dark fantasy, mostly for teenagers and up, so apologies to my slightly younger fans. Don’t worry, there aren’t bad words or anything like that, it’s just that there are some darker themes such as nemocracy. Now, as for the plot of the book, it follows the story of a young girl who is prophesied to be a villain. But there’s a catch- the prophecy is fake. And the people of her kingdom don’t know that. The story follows her life as she grows up and is made into the villain everyone thinks she will become. So we have the fun false prophecy trope that is self-fulfilled. And don’t you worry romance lovers, there is a tad bit of romance going on the side. Not much but still enough haha.
Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. ;p
The title of my next book issssssssssss…
‘Villain: Evil Isn’t Born. It’s Made.’
I am so, so excited for you all to read it when it comes out later this year! Let me know what you think of the title, and feel free to shoot me a message with what you think will happen.
On top of my new novel, I have some more exciting news! I have started working on some song covers! Now, these are solo covers, and will not be on the Silver Arc Channel (That will be mostly for T.C. Arc and I’s duets, but occasionally some solo covers and original works). You can find them on my solo channel, Aurora G. Rain. Right now I only have one video up (I very recently started this channel), but I actually have another video that I am currently editing and it should be up later today! Feel free to check those out and let me know what you think! If you have any song requests, you can email me or message me through the form on the Silver Arc webpage, and I’ll let you know if I can do it!
So that is all the news for this week, Readers. I hope you enjoyed it and found something to look forward to! We shall now move on to our last segment, word of the week.
Word of the Week: Will-o’-the-wisp
Pronunciation: Will-oh-the-wih-sp
Definition: A flame like phosphorescence caused by gases from decaying plants in marshy areas.
Example: In the olden days, travelers would be said to follow the Will-o’-the-wisps and end up stranded in the marshes.
That’s all for this week Readers! I hope you have a lovely week! See you on the author side!
