I have been very busy finishing school projects, getting some writing in, and doing rehearsals. I have had 4 performances within 2 weeks and wow I have had to do a lot of practice. My first performance was an hour and a half long choir performance. We did some Christmas songs and let me tell you it was amazing. We had so much fun and I was in awe because we sang with a live orchestra and there is nothing cooler than that. The second performance was a solo singing act- I sang at a fun high school event while my friend played the piano. Then two days after that I had ANOTHER Christmas choir performance, this time with the band and orchestra. It was absolutely lovely. Lastly, I have my 4th performance this Friday and I’m super excited. It will be another solo performance, so fingers crossed I don’t die hahaha.

When I’m not busy practicing, performing, or working on school work, I’ve been writing a bit- I’ve gotten a few pages written and I’m proud of myself for finding time to do so much.

In case any of y’all feel you are overwhelmed, take a deep breath. It’s almost winter break. You’ll be able to relax in a few days. Even if it seems like a huge deal right now, it will pass. I hope you lovely Readers don’t get too stressed this week! If you are, I suggest setting aside a few minutes to write down everything you need to do and then their dates. Then just take everything one step at a time- do what needs to be done first. Instead of switching back and forth on what you are doing, just get one project done in one go.
