Hello Readers! A.G. Silver here!
I know you probably expected an author post for this last week of September- we had one planned and were working with the author, but then something came up and we will have to postpone her interview till next month. But never fear, you won’t lose a valuable interview because we will still have the official interview for December!
This post is going to be a bit more of an informative post for upcoming Silver Arc events and plans, so stick around to see what 2022 will bring around!
No Author Interviews:
Now I know the author interviews are always one of the favorite posts for you Readers, but T.C. Arc and I decided that it would be for the best if we did them for one year and then took a break. As a small, startup blog, especially as teens, it is harder for us to interview authors since we don’t have the ‘credibility’ that a lot of well known interviews and blogs have. Now that is not to say that we will never do author interviews ever again. We are simply taking a break after doing them for a year, and replacing them with something just as fun!
Word of the Week:
To replace author interviews for the year of 2022, T.C. Arc and I will be starting a ‘Word of the Week’ segment in each post. We have different categories for each month, and based on the category, we will share with you a unique word you probably haven’t heard of!
Cover Songs:
As you know, T.C. Arc and I made an intro video for our new YouTube channel as a fun little gift for y’all on our one-year anniversary. If you recall, in the video, T.C. Arc and I stated that we would like to try making song covers in the future. Well, in 2022, we are hoping to put out our first cover, and hopefully many more after that. We would have liked to put out some covers this year, but the first semester of high school is always very busy (joining clubs, auditioning for choir or plays, joining friend groups, etc.) and we wanted to focus on our school life a bit more instead of have to worry about a new Silver Arc segment. Fingers crossed that everything goes well and we can start putting out covers! In preparation, we are working out the kinds of songs we want to sing, and we are figuring out what kinds of mics we want to order.
T.C. Arc Books:
T.C. Arc is currently working on not one, but two books that she hopes to have published next year! One is her novella, Hey There Delilah, which she has been working on expanding. It should hopefully be published early or mid 2022, and the second book, a collection of poems (no title yet), should hopefully be published late 2022. Be on the look out for those publications!
A.G. Silver Novel:
I am currently working on a new novel (Title is decided but not revealed yet bwahahaha) that I do not feel comfortable giving even a vague release date because when it comes to writing, you honestly can never tell how the writing process will play out. I will go through phases where I can write 3,000 words a day for a week and then I don’t touch my document for 4 months. And sometimes I will look at it once a month, add 200 words, and then just die out.
So once I get through ¾ of the story I will give a guesstimate release date, but for now, I will only say I have a novel I am working on (FYI I have 7,000 words for it. I’m hoping to get around 55,000 words total but we will see how everything plays out).
Classified:
So T.C. Arc and I are working on building up our YouTube channel, and if everything goes as planned, Silver Arc will be able to greatly expand its horizons. What we are planning will remain classified for now as it is very tentative, but we are seriously crossing our fingers and wishing for the best. We just wanted to let y’all know that there could possibly be big changes, that way if something does happen, it is not a sudden, random change.
I hope you Readers are excited for next year! T.C. Arc and I are so excited to share another year with you guys, and we really hope you will enjoy the changes for this new year! That’s all for this week, so have a lovely weekend and I will see you on the author side!
