Howdy, Readers! T.C. Arc here! Recently, I’ve fallen in love with cartoon drawings. A.G. and I both strive to find joy in simple things and for me, cartoons are a great example of that. They aren’t extremely detailed, they may only have a few colors but they still manage to capture so much beauty. Cartoons that depict a happy couple move me so much because they are so innocent but there is so much love present.
Hello hello, my lovely Readers! A.G. Silver here and I am so, so excited for this week's post! For the past few months, I’ve kept y’all updated on my newest writing project, and as curious as y’all were, I said I wouldn’t say the book title until July… well it’s July. So now I can tell you!!!
Welcome, Readers! I hope you are having a great day! A while ago, I started talking about how we can write for music as well as other forms of writing. After knowing the parts of a song (which I went over in ‘Music or Writing?’) you can start to write your lyrics and melody! There are numerous ways to write a song, but I’ll go over some of the methods I’ve tried and which I like best. I’ll also go over what I think the advantages of songwriting are.
Hello, lovely and oh so patient, Readers XD! It's been a while, but I hope you’re happy to hear I’ve been continuing my work on A Heart Adrift and I’m still set to finish the first draft before the end of summer. Since I’m writing the ending scenes, my characters’ emotions are amping up and are great for tugging at the heartstrings. Today, I’m going to share the three most significant emotions/elements that I think are great for adding a little more heartache and honestly, pain to your story.
Welcome back Readers! A.G. Silver here :)
I am back with part 2 of writing second drafts and I am so excited to talk with you! First off, I am quite proud of how my second draft has been going so far. I have added in more scenes and I think I’ve done quite well in expanding on multiple aspects of the story. Obviously, nothing is perfect so there are still things that can be worked on, but realistically, I can’t improve certain aspects of my story solely through a second or third or even fourth draft.
Hello hello lovely Readers! A.G. Silver here! It is lovely to be back on schedule and I can’t wait to share what’s going on in the writing world with you. Today I was thinking we could focus on the topic of second drafts.
Howdy, Readers! It's been a while, but T.C. Arc here! As A.G. said in her last post, our lives have been beyond hectic wrapping up the school year, but summer is almost upon us, so look forward to more scheduled updates! The title of the post makes it sound like a traffic safety lecture, I assure you, however, it is not (traffic safety is definitely important though XD). I’m going to share with y’all and also let myself reflect on the activities I’ve done lately and what I’m looking forward to this summer.
Hello Readers! A.G. Silver here!
Yet again I apologize for all the delayed posts of late- and some of the completely missing ones. T.C. Arc and I have been so busy with school and last week we weren’t able to get any writing done at all because we were gone at a counselor training session (so many bugs so you know it was great lol). When we first started Silver Arc, we were starting high school and did not have as many commitments or as much school work and did not expect our later half of high school to be so jam-packed with stuff.
Hello Readers! A.G. Silver here! I hope you had a lovely week!
Super sorry for all the delay in posts recently- T.C. Arc and I are in the second semester of our Junior year and it is the most hectic thing ever. We have to start working on college essays, as well as studying for finals and wrapping up any extracurriculars we are in this year. On top of school stuff, I had a few different performances (choir and theatre), and then some volunteer work I had for a club and wow it all adds up really quickly.
Hello, wonderful Readers. T.C. Arc here! Writing and singing are two of my strongest passions, and sometimes I feel like I have to give one up for the other. BUT, I realized there is a great way of combining the two! Writing lyrics for a song allows me to play around with words as well as learn more about the music industry and sing my own lyrics. Today, I am going to share what the basic parts of a song are and the common structures for a song. In another post, I’ll go over methods to actually write a song and the advantages of songwriting.
Heyo Readers! A.G. Silver here!
Ooooh my word this past week has been so chaotic it’s insane. So first off we held all the performances for Taming of the Shrew (It went really well and I had soooo much fun. Literally I’m at my happiest time when I’m on stage). I was up til one in the morning for like 5 days straight, and I rode an adrenaline high the whole time since I was so excited and happy, but then when Monday came back around and the show was over, I was literally dead tired. I have never fallen asleep before in class and I was sooo close to just passing out during math class.
Happy Saturday, Readers, T.C. Arc here! Through the stresses of life, there is one thing that can still put a smile on my face no matter what. It’s not music, writing, or reading. It’s my best friends. Today, I’m going to talk about the importance of friendship, and how we can be better friends with each other.
No superhero truly works alone, and neither should an amazing creative like you!
Hello hello Readers! A.G. Silver here for this most wonderful Saturday. It is a beautiful day outside, and guess what! I finally got over my writer’s block for Villain?! I am now at 26,000 words and am superrrrr happy XD. I hope y’all are also getting on track with your writing- and no worries if you’re still stuck, even the best of us struggle ;p.
Happy Saturday, Readers, T.C. Arc here! As we near the end of the school year, essays, tests, exams, recitals, etc. seem to be piling up. Even my summer already seems busy! However, take a deep breath and I think I may have something to help remind you that everything is going to be okay. I’m going to share my favorite comforting songs that always help me to relax and destress!
