Hello hello Readers! A.G. Silver here!
This week's post is going to be a bitttt shorter than others, solely because I’m still in the middle of busy season for school and what not. I am still working on that essay I mentioned last time (Yay.), and I am coordinating schedules for 3 different practices (two separate plays and then Jazz Choir). As hectic as it is, I wouldn’t trade it for anything because I absolutely adore performing and will always find a way to balance it out with school.
Hello, Readers, T.C. Arc here! I apologize for the late post, but I hope y’all are having an amazing week! We all have crazy schedules, so when we get a bit of free time it is important to take advantage of it. Today, I am going to talk about something called ‘time confetti’, and how to use our free time in the best way.
Hello hello lovely Readers! A.G. Silver here! I hope you are doing amazing, and if not, *sends virtual hug* you got this!
Now for this week's post, I was greatly inspired by my current life situations. Recently I have had sooo much writing to do… and not the fun type. Late December, my english class was assigned a massive paper that we have been working on ever since then and won’t finish till mid March. So much fun, I know.
Happy Saturday Readers, T.C. Arc here! Today I have a few things on the agenda to share with y’all, let’s start with a writing update! Right now, A Heart Adrift is over 12,000 words which blows my mind. Right now, I have a goal of writing 600 words a week which I kept for all of January until school demanded more attention. So, my progress has slowed overall but I’m still really happy with how it is coming along.
Also, since I’m homeschooled and I’m working in my room so much I got a pet to keep me company!
Heyo Readers! A.G. Silver back again with part two of behind the scenes! This time I will be talking about the more creative, fun, design aspects of running a blog, as well as some useful add-ons you can use.
For the first thing, we have an email list which is run through a separate provider in our case. Some website builders allow you to create an email list on the same platform, but not all do. For Silver Arc, we use Mailchimp, which allows us to set up a subscriber page which then sends all our posts to your inbox, should that be the most convenient way for you to get our weekly posts.
Hello hello lovely Readers! A.G. Silver here and I am so glad to be back. As T.C. Arc had stated last week, I had a responsibility that took priority before the blog (you know it’s important if it comes between me and my writing ;p). But thankfully I am back and ready to bring some knowledge to you guys!
So lately I get a looot of messages asking about how to start and run a blog, and I’m always glad to help, albeit I get very busy so I’m not always able to help everyone as much as I would like to. To help with that, I thought I’d make a post covering the basics of blogging!
Hello, Readers! T.C. Arc here again! A.G. Silver was planning to write today’s post but she got caught up in some other responsibilities so I’m filling in. Lately, I’ve been thinking about the different qualities that make a person a writer and came up with the question: What does a writer look like? That question was quickly followed by another one: Do I look like a writer?
Happy Saturday, Readers! T.C. Arc here with a spoiler special and behind the scenes of sorts. As many of you know, I published my first short story, Hey There Delilah, a little over a week ago! I can now say with full confidence that I am a published author and I am so grateful to have hit this landmark in my life.
Looking back at my Google docs history, I started writing Hey There Delilah on November 13, 2019, and ended it on September 28, 2021. So, I took about three years to very slowly write and polish it.
Hello, hello Readers! A.G. Silver here! I don’t know about you, but for me, this first week of 2022 has been amazing. Not only did my best friend publish her very first book, but I have also been incredibly on top of my own work- both school and writing alike. My next novel’s word count has steadily been climbing and I’m currently at 13,000 words??? Not only that but I’m currently ahead in some of my school subjects. And this is all on top of still hanging out with friends and going to meetings for clubs outside of school??
Hello Readers, T.C. Arc here! It is not Saturday yet but I just wanted to let you all know that my short story Hey There Delilah is now available for purchase!
Greetings Readers, and welcome to 2022! Whether you are new here or have been with us since the very beginning, we are thrilled to start this new year with you!
As the new year comes and the old year goes, so do some of the things at Silver Arc. As of 2022, we are stopping the author interviews and replacing them with something else. Now never fear, we are not stopping the interviews forever.
Hello Readers and welcome to the last author interview (for a while at least). This month, we have our very own T.C. Arc! We hope you enjoy it, and Merry Christmas!
Howdy, Readers, T.C. Arc here! There is T-minus 6 days until Christmas and I cannot believe it! Since my family is staying in town for the holidays, I have been going on a reading marathon and taking advantage of as much time as possible. My sisters have constantly talked about a series called The Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger for months. So, since I’m currently out of new reading material, I decided I would give the series a go.
Hello, hello Readers! A.G. Silver here! So sorry for the late post- as you can tell from the title, this week has been crazy. Honestly, it’s been crazy the past few weeks. School is wrapping up the first semester and the Christmas season is here!
Happy Saturday Readers, T.C. Arc here! Authors always seem to be closely connected to their characters, but for some reason, it's something I struggle with. It's also common for authors to make a playlist of songs that remind them of their characters and/or story. I tried making one of these playlists for the first time this week and I must say it's very helpful and a lot of fun.
